Travel and Leisure’s list has Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge in Orlando at number one. Not only is it very close to the Disney theme parks, it has plenty of free-roaming zebras and antelopes making it a magnificent view from the hotel room. At the Beaver Creek Lodge in Colorado, your family can have the chance to do some fly-fishing and white-water rafting, depending on the season. The Four Seasons Resort takes number five on the list with its biologist-lead excursions to track moose and mountain lions as well as x-boxes and a kids’ club. The Grand Wailea in Maui is perfect for swimmers. There are nine pools, a baby-friendly beach and seven waterslides. South Carolina boasts the Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort with its tie-dye lessons, all-ages golf and surf kayak rodeo.
