No Fighting On Sky Limo Guaranteed

Recently, the Washington Post reported that a flight attendant and a passenger aboard a United Airlines flight jumped between two men that were fighting on the plane. The fistfight broke out after one of the passengers reclined his seat and got his head slapped by the guy sitting behind him. Instead of continuing the flight, the captain decided to circle the plane around in the air for about 25 minutes to burn enough fuel to land within the weight limits of the aircraft. The United Airlines 5,000 miles flight ended up being canceled until the next day with 144 passengers that were very unhappy. This is just another example of how commercial flights are squeezing travelers and becoming more of an annoyance in the world of travel.

Bypass all of the hassles that flying commercial can entail. Forget the long lines at the airport, forget cranky passengers, forget bad customer service at the ticket counter and fly on a private jet. Flying with a private aviation company like Sky Limo Air Charter guarantees you all the luxury and comforts in the friendly skies including plenty of legroom, jet concierge services and all of the reclining you can handle.

Art in Airports

In this blog posting, Sky Limo Air Charter, your private aviation company of choice, is shining the spotlight on several airports in the U.S. that proudly display art on its walls, concourses and terminals. Not too far from our private jet headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the Miami International Airport’s south terminal concourse J has been outfitted with about $9.4 million worth of art. The highlights include pieces by Brad Goldberg, Norie Sato and Barbara Neijna. The Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport’s terminal 4 has a ceramics collection right in front of the US Airways counters. Atlanta’s concourse E at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has quilts hanging. The Pittsburg International Airport has an original Alexander Calder mobile and major pieces from the famous pop artist Andy Warhol.

When you don’t have the luxury to fly on a private jet and find yourself in one of those airports’ terminals, take the time to at least enjoy the art before you board a commercial flight

Avoid Luggage fees

The UPS store has launched a new product called luggage boxes to target customers who don’t want to be paying luggage fees to commercial airlines. Passengers can ship their personal belongings ahead of time and before embarking on their flight. The luggage boxes actually look like cardboard suitcases complete with a handle. They’re priced high from $12.95 for a small on to $17.95 for a larger one, which kind of defeats the purpose, especially when you’ll also have to pay for shipping it. The smaller luggage box can actually hold 55 pounds which if fully loaded can cost a lot of money to ship. Most commercial airlines charge about $25 each way to check your first piece of luggage at the airport and it arrives at the same time you do, unlike the new UPS luggage box.

A better way of not dealing with extra charges and fees from commercial airlines is to fly on a private jet with Sky Limo Air Charter. Not only will you not be charged for any of your suitcases, you’ll also enjoy lots of privacy, comfort and exclusive, world-class jet concierge service. You’ll arrive at your destination on time and rested. There’s really no other way to fly.

More Complaints Against Commercial Airlines

Travel and Leisure recently released a survey compiling commercial airline complaint information from the Department of Transportation. The legacy airlines take up the top spot for complaints followed by the low-cost airlines and regional airlines. The top 5 commercial airlines passengers are complaining about include at number one, Delta Airlines with 1.96 per 100,000 passengers, followed by United Airlines with 1.34 per 100,000 travelers, then US Airways, Northwest Arilines and American Airlines. The list based on last year’s data, so Delta and Northwest are still listed separately. The low cost carriers scored well. JetBlue made it tenth on the list and Southwest made it 19th on the list with only a .21 complaints per 100,000 passengers.
If you fly on a private jet with Sky Limo Air Charter, there won’t be anything to complain about. You’ll get to your destination on time and rested from your very comfortable flight. You’ll fly in a private aircraft, be treated like the VIP that you are and get help from our jet concierge services. When you charter a private jet with Sky Limo, there’s truly nothing to complain about.

In Ashville, North Carolina, which is a very popular destination for Sky Limo passengers, there’s the Biltmore estate reminiscent of a French Renaissance castle. Biltmore is America’s largest home and a National Historic Landmark. It covers 8,000 acres of stunning gardens, an award-wining winery and Antler Hill Farm. It also has an equestrian center, several restaurants, as well as 250 rooms filled with art and antiques. The private aviation company can also fly you to Los Angeles, so you can take a peek at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. You can see its hardwood-paneled auditorium from up close, its state-the-art acoustics and maybe even enjoy an orchestra performance as well. The Gateway Arch in Missouri is definitely another wonder you must see. It’s the tallest national monument in the US, measuring 630 feet. It was built between 1963 to 1965 and still attracts many visitors today.
