Just recently, the Department of Transportation announced new airlines regulations that are meant to benefit travelers. Airlines will soon have to refund bags if they lose them as well as pay more for bumping travelers from a flight. Presently the compensation for travelers that are bumped is up to $400 or $800 depending on how long the passenger is bumped off. Those numbers will increase to $650 and $1,330. If bags are delivered late, there will be no refund in place.
Airlines will also have to include fees and taxes in their advertised prices. Those possible fees can include checking bags, changing reservations, upgrading seats.
And last year’s rule about tarmac delay is affecting international flights now, not only domestic. Now, DOT is stopping passengers from being stranded for 4 hours on international flights for longer than four hours. If passengers are stuck for more than two hours on an international flight, the airline is required to provide food and water.
However all those changes will still not make flying commercial as comfortable as flying on a private aircraft. For less headache and less nonsense, fly with Sky Limo Air Charter. We’ll provide you with a private jet along with exclusive jet concierge services thousands of feet in the air and on the ground. You’re guaranteed tons of privacy, flexibility, comfort and of course, luxury.

Spilled Coffee Diverts Plane
Mistakes can happen to the best of us, even airline pilots. A United Airlines flight from Chicago to Frankfurt was diverted to Toronto on Monday because the pilot spilled coffee on the controls according to CNN.com. Because of the spilled coffee, the pilot wanted to change the transponder code and while turning the dial he sent out a radio message indicating a hijacking. The flight crew was able to take care of the strange situation, but instead of flying over the Atlantic with a possible communications issue, the pilot decided to land the plane. The reason for the spilled coffee was simply because of turbulence. The pilot did the right thing to land the plane, and not to risk any other issue. The United Airlines flight never lost communications with traffic control. Mistakes do happen, but if you want to have a great flight with no interruptions, then fly with a Sky Limo Air Charter private jet. You won’t have to deal with any of the typical hassles of flying commercial. By booking a private jet flight you can also make up your own schedule and not deal with delays or missing your flight due to connecting flights. Flying on a private aircraft is truly the ultimate experience in travel. Try it today!
