The results for New York City’s 2010 Michelin Guide are in and 57 New York restaurants earned one or more of the guide’s highest honor, the Michelin Star. The ratings in the guide, the Sky Limo team learned are three stars ( exceptional cuisine, distinctive dishes, worth a special journey), two stars (exceptional cuisine, worth a detour) and one star (very good restaurant in its category). No NYC restaurant dropped from their 2010 ranking. Perry Street and Insieme lost their sole star while Chef Table at Brooklyn Fare entered the guide for the first time and with two stars. This year New York earned a total of 95 entries this year, more than the 65 of Paris and 62 of London. Here are some of the highlights: The restaurants that received three stars include Daniel, Jean Georges, Le Bernadin, Masa and Per Se. 2 Stars restaurants included Alto, Chef Table at Brooklyn Fare, Corton, Gilt, Kajitsu, Marea, Momofuku Ko, Soto and Picholine.
