Just recently, according to cnn.com, the Federal Aviation Administration issued an emergency Airworthiness Directive mandating operators of at least 80 older Boeing 737s to perform inspections for wear and tear. This just days after Southwest Airline’s 737 made an emergency landing because of the hole in its fuselage.
