TSA Employee Arrested

According to CNN, a former Transportation Security Administration employee was charged with two counts of grand theft for allegedly stealing electronics from luggage. A Continental Airlines employee caught someone stealing an iPad from a suitcase in Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. This according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office. This former TSA employee confessed to having stolen about $50,000 worth of computers, GPS devices and other electronics from bags he screened. He took pictures of these items so he can sell them online. He often sold the electronics before his shift ended. He has worked with the TSA since January 2009 but no longer works there. Detectives are trying to locate the victims of his crime, but it is said to be unlikely that they will get their personal belongings back.
