Fear of Flying

According to an article on MSN, about 10% to 25% of the population is afraid to fly. Even through traveling by plane is very safe, even safe than driving, many feel flying is unnatural. Psychologists say that phobias develop in the late 20s and these fears of flying are stopping many people from taking part in plenty of milestones and social events such as weddings, reunions, vacations and more. If you're afraid to fly, there are ways to help you cope. For example, skipping the commercial airline route and flying on a private jet might help ease the anxiety. With a private aircraft all to yourself and a jet concierge staff helping you with all the trip-related reservations and organization, you might find the traveling experience less stressful. Also, skipping the waiting around at the airport, can make you more relax and not anticipating the flight. With a private jet flight, the "getting onboard" part is much quicker than with a traditional commercial airline. If flying solo isn't an option, virtual reality training can also help, with classes run by therapists and pilots to expose you to flying without ever leaving the ground. Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and Air France offer classes. Breathing and muscle-relaxation techniques can also help and understanding the mechanics of flying can decrease the fear too. The magical aspect of flying dissipates once you understand how it works.

TSA Employee Arrested

According to CNN, a former Transportation Security Administration employee was charged with two counts of grand theft for allegedly stealing electronics from luggage. A Continental Airlines employee caught someone stealing an iPad from a suitcase in Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. This according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office. This former TSA employee confessed to having stolen about $50,000 worth of computers, GPS devices and other electronics from bags he screened. He took pictures of these items so he can sell them online. He often sold the electronics before his shift ended. He has worked with the TSA since January 2009 but no longer works there. Detectives are trying to locate the victims of his crime, but it is said to be unlikely that they will get their personal belongings back.
If you don't want to deal with theft and other hassles that come with flying commercial and experiences at the airport, contact your private aviation company for your next trip on a private jet. You'll have access to the best staff in the skies, along with VIP concierge services, not to mention all the privacy in the world.

Travelers From Overseas

Your private aviation company brings you more news on traveling. According to CNN online, global travel is thriving...but not in the U.S. To travel internationally these days is much cheaper and faster. India, China and Brazil have seen many international travelers in the last several years. Sky Limo Air Charter has learnt that more than 60 million travelers have flown internationally in the past 10 years, but almost none in the U.S. According to CNN, America has seen zero growth in overseas visitation resulting in a 37% decline sine 2000. The U.S. has so much to offer visitors, from such variety of people and geography, including beaches, mountains, attractions, nightlife, shopping and the list goes on. Until not too log ago, the U.S. was the only developed country without a national travel promotion strategy. Most destinations actively advertise themselves to attract people to spend time and money in their countries. Last year, a bipartisan Congress passed the Travel Promotion Act to create the Corporation for Travel Promotion which is a public-private partnership that will create and execute America's first nationally coordinated marketing program. It's designed to attract more international visitors. It will provide them with useful information and promote that America wants and welcomes world travelers.

Banning Infants From Flights

Malaysia Airlines is deciding to ban infants from their first class section on its 747-400 jets and new A380 Airbus super-jumbo jets, after hearing passengers complain about not being able to sleep because of babies crying. Travelers with babies flying from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam, London and Sydney will have to purchase tickets in business or economy class. That area will be the only one equipped with bassinets. Back in February, several commercial airlines including British Airways and Virgin Atlantic were considering to create children-free flights as well.

If you have babies or young children and still want to fly in luxury and comfort, fly with on a private jet with Sky Limo Air Charter. You won't have to deal with any of the dreaded experiences typically found at the airport and will have the entire cabin for you and your kids. Also, Sky Limo's jet concierge service will help you with any reservations from accommodations to car rentals. Traveling With Kids

Summer is here so plenty of parents and children are taking advantage of the free time to go on vacation. Flying with children is certainly not easy, especially the younger ones who come equipped with a host of questions: Mommy why doesn't the airplane window open? Daddy are we there yet? Mommy can i go to the bathroom again? Taking a flight with kids can be really hard, they're typically bored and impatient during all the airport procedures. It gets a little easier when children are a little older and can do certain things for themselves like eat or keep busy during the flight with coloring and other activities. To make it easier on yourself, make sure to stuff a few of their favorite things in your carry on. Try a stuffed animal, a video game, coloring book, even a story book so you can read to them mid-flight. Try to make it a little more fun in the airport, by treating them to pizza or french fries. Navigating the hassle of the airport can be a little easier if you have your stroller with you. If you have babies traveling with you, don't forget the diapers wet wipes and bottles in your carry-on. To make the journey even more pleasant, skip the commercial airlines and opt for traveling by private jet. Your children will have the entire plane cabin to move about, you'll have the flexibility of traveling when you want and get help with concierge services when it comes to reserving hotel rooms and car rentals. Choose an experienced and professional private aviation company like Sky Limo Air Charter. Your trip will be a wonderful success!
