Art in Airports

In this blog posting, Sky Limo Air Charter, your private aviation company of choice, is shining the spotlight on several airports in the U.S. that proudly display art on its walls, concourses and terminals. Not too far from our private jet headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the Miami International Airport’s south terminal concourse J has been outfitted with about $9.4 million worth of art. The highlights include pieces by Brad Goldberg, Norie Sato and Barbara Neijna. The Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport’s terminal 4 has a ceramics collection right in front of the US Airways counters. Atlanta’s concourse E at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has quilts hanging. The Pittsburg International Airport has an original Alexander Calder mobile and major pieces from the famous pop artist Andy Warhol.

When you don’t have the luxury to fly on a private jet and find yourself in one of those airports’ terminals, take the time to at least enjoy the art before you board a commercial flight
