Unusual Motels

Bing has listed a bunch of unusual motels complete with their pictures online and Sky Limo, your private aviation company, wants to share. So here are a few on that list: The Hobbit Motel in Waitomo, New Zealand features units designed to mimic the hobbit habitat of ‘the Lord of the Rings’ movies that were filmed in New Zealand. It includes a plane, a rail car and a World Ward II patrol boat people can sleep in. The Jumbo Hostel next to the Stockholm Airport is a retired Boeing 747 with 25 rooms for hostel travelers. It has a total of 85 beds with views of the airport. Next on that list of unusual motels is the Quaker Square Inn in Akron, Ohio. It has perfectly round rooms because the hotel was originally a set of grain silos that are 120 feet tall and at one point held 1.5 million bushels of the Quaker Oats. The Iglu-Dorf operates six igloo villages in Andorra Germany and Switzerland. The igloos can accommodate up to six people and some even have an en-suite whirlpool. The Queen Mary is a floating hotel. It has 314 rooms decorated with Art Deco ambiance.
