More Travel News: Disney Plans New Hotel

According to an article on Wesh.com, Disney is building the first new hotel in seven years. This will be the theme park’s 26th resort at Walt Disney World, in Florida. The company hopes the Art of Animation Resort will be up and running by 2012. The hotel will be a 2,000-room value hotel with rooms as low as $82. It will have 1,120 family suites in The Lion King, Cars and Finding Nemo wings and 864 themed rooms in The Little Mermaid wings. The suites will include a living room and a bedroom. The resort will be situated across from Pop Century, on a 65-acre lot on the other side of Osceola Parkway. The resort is said to feature the beloved Disney characters and stories.
