Dassault Falcon Jet Wins “Good Design”

According to an article on CadCamNews.com, Dassault Falcon and BMW Designworks USA just recently received the prestigious “Good design” award by the Chicago Athnaeum and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design for the new Falcon 7X interior option. “Good Design” bestows international recognition and the interior option of the Falcon 7X offered defining features including uncompromising cabin comfort for temperature monitoring, thermal controls and custom-crafted interior furnishings. The new Falcon 7X cabin has a single arc carpet element connecting the front and the back of the private aircraft cabin, it has curved bulkheads, the lighting features up-wash and down-wash ambient lights as well as light strips. The private jet looks elegant and stylish fused with function. Since its entry into the private aviation market in 2007, the Falcon 7X introduced a new standard for business jets. Its bright and large cabin includes a whopping 28 windows. Flight on this Falcon 7X can last up to 13 hours. It was introduced at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition last May and the new interior will be available some time in 2011.
